Bill of Intents
1. Team D.I.A.N.A. is a student organized group within the Politecnico of Turin.
1.1. Team members must be enrolled at the Politecnico di Turin.
1.2. The Team management is a complete responsibility of its members.
1.3. Any student may grant his/her contribute and become a member of the team independently on his/her age, gender, nationality, religion, personal university major chosen and number of members already enrolled in the team (except from special circumstances which will be evaluated aside).
1.4. Teachers, Ph.D. students and external staff to the Politecnico may cooperate with the team as external counsellor.
2. The accession to the team is voluntary and it is not requested any kind of fee or admission tax.
2.1. Team members must contribute actively in order to fulfil the collective team objectives.
3. All team members are equal.
3.1. The inside team structure, shown below, does not describe any hierarchical relation, but has only an optimization function in the communication of the design and production aspects.
4. Team D.I.A.N.A. has no reference with any Department or company, excepted one only Department where Team founds are deposited, on security of a professor who has role of Administrative Responsible of the Team.
4.1. Until new modification, team founds are deposited at the “Dipartimento di Ingegneria Aeronautica e Spaziale” (DIASP) and are on security of Prof. Gianfranco Chiocchia (Team Administrative Responsible).
5. The main goal of the Team is to develop space robotic projects, aiming to become a permanent reference in this field within the Politecnico.
5.1. It is necessarily to manage a good personnel shift over the years in order to keep the staff up-to-date with freshmen. New students will be able to replace old members who (for any reason) get out the Team.
5.2. Except some particular case, to improve Team efficiency the working phase should be assigned to Master degree students. Bachelor degree students should cooperate with them in order to fulfil in their task.
5.3. Thigh cooperation of all members is of a paramount importance in order to succeed in long lasting tasks.
5.4. The Team will inform members about working deadlines and technical specification. In such a way each member will be able to self-organize himself and the time he/she will devote to the Team.
6. Activities carried out by Team members may be converted in thesis and stage.
6.1. This possibility is on students own discretion. The collaboration with the team does not imply the development of a thesis.
6.2. The management of any bureaucratic aspect of a thesis is not a Team matter. Therefore, it must be treated by each single student who requests it.
7. In order to allow the implementation of these regulations and the modification of the existing ones, this Bill may be varied in one or more of its parts only under specific request of the plenum and in presence of the Administrative Responsible.
